Wentzel Immigration Attorneys is led by Chris Wentzel and Hermie Wentzel, brothers and seasoned immigration law specialists with over 40 years of combined experience. The firm’s foundation dates back to 1994 when Chris Wentzel and Wikus Kriel co-founded Wentzel & Kriel Attorneys in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. With South Africa’s transition to democracy, the firm became a trusted advisor to foreign nationals, particularly in matters before the Kempton Park Magistrates’ Court. By the early 2000s, the firm expanded to seven attorneys. In 2016, Chris Wentzel established a specialized immigration practice in Bedfordview, while Hermie Wentzel launched his own immigration law practice at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. With a presence in Johannesburg and Cape Town, the firm provides expert legal counsel nationwide, ensuring strategic, solutions-driven representation in all immigration matters.
